The painting represents the traditional lifestyle of the tribal people with each section depicting scenes from a village gatherings, cultural life, village farming and forests. On the body of this kurta the artist have beautifully painted the famous Jagannath Temple of Puri and just below the temple The Gajapati (The King) rides his chariot accompanied by an Elephant ahead of him attending his people while the Lord drapes a subtle sheath of divinity in all aspects of the traditional lifestyle.
