Narayani | Handwoven jala tussar silk saree | Golden brown
This saree is a six yards of mesmerizing jala work and is an inspiration and an offering to Lord Vishnu. Hence the pallu adorns itself with beautiful motifs of 'Matsya'(fish), 'Katchapa'(turtle), 'Padma'(lotus), 'Mayura' (peacock) as primary motifs with other intricate designs covering the whole of pallu, a 'Jala' work which involves a complex process of setting up the design on to the loom even before the weaving starts.
The body of this golden brown saree adorns itself with 'Matsya'(fish) motifs that spreads evenly across the whole body crafted using the traditional 'phoda' (pierce) technique.. The complete border is covered with 'Kumbha'(Temple) design along with 'Matsya' (fish) motifs of complementing colors.
